A HUGE thank you to the boys for coming to help with this project. It was very entertaining to watch them crafting...
We made 27 blankets for Project Linus, and 32 cards for the hospitalized kids.
A good friend of mine is a nurse at Rush, and when she heard that the boys had done this, she sent me a message that said: "Thank you to all of you. The kids at my hospital receive these blankets. It is so special for the kids!" It really is a special thing - hopefully the boys will get that (someday lol)
A HUGE thank you also to the Rozhans, who donated dozens of fleece pieces for us to use.
We still have a lot of fleece left. If you are interested in making a few blankets while catching up on your favorite TV show, let me know. I will be bringing some to the game on Sunday.
